So, I think Izzy is allergic to carrots. Isn't that strange? I attempted to feed him some carrots last week. That night he developed a rash on his cheek and neck. The next day the rash was gone. I didn't feed him solids for a few days, and he seemed fine. On Monday I fed him carrots again. That night he developed a rash on his forehead. But this time, the rash didn't go away. My poor little guy still has a nasty little rash on his forehead. In addition to the rash, Izzy also woke up many times on Monday night. Each time he woke up, he SCREAMED and SCREAMED. Although I hurried into his room at the slightest peep, he was obviously very distressed. Poor little guy.
So, has your child experienced allergies to specific foods? If so, what were the symptoms?

Bananas! First food we fed her! She got a rash everywhere, but mainly face, neck, back and tush. we gave her some anti-histamine and it helped, she still has some rough patches on her back but that's it.
He is so cute! No advice on the allergies my little one just hates food period it seems. It's weird though that he would have a reaction to carrots because you just don't here of reactions to them very often but it sure sounds like one. Good luck, hope the rash clears up soon.
Yeah, those eyes are going to be trouble later on!! :) My hubby has the long eyelashes....Hopefully by baby girl will get them too! :) He is just adorable though. Madison isnt on solids yet, so I dont know signs of food allergies, but I have read articles, thats a sign. Especially since you waited then tried again. Seems there is a connection.

and O got some weird rashes from strawberries last spring and summer, but this year...nothing. so i dunno. kids are sensitive little critters.
those eyelashes are just yummy.
We have managed to avoid allergies to any foods (so far!!)~ so can't help you there I am afraid!!

Max gets the same thing but he gets a rash on his stomach and butt. He wakes a lot during the night and is just not happy. Breaks my heart. ia ms ure he will grow out of it.

Cole doesn't seem to be allergic to anything so far although he does not like fruit- unless it is fresh. No pureed shiznit for him, no sir.
My eldest is allergic to strawberries. When he eats them or anything strawberry flavour he gets a rash over his face/neck/and torso. After seeing the Dr he got some anti-histamine . Strawberries are a no-no in our house!
And yes, he is a wee cutie!!!

He is a beautiful baby! Mine is allergic to peanuts, peanut butter, nuts, eggs and is real sensitive. We just don't know what will pop up next. The signs were very clear! Vomiting, instant rash and screaming and off to the ER we went. Good Times.
I think William MIGHT be allergic to strawberries, but it's only when he eats too much that he gets a rash.
He doesn't seem to be bothered and loves them though, so I let it go.

Eliza is cute. But I think he is cuter. He is freakin adorable. They will make a great couple someday! I haven't had any food allergy problems yet. Sorry I can't help more.

That's too bad about Izzy. Here's hoping it clears up soon--and that he doesn't have another night like that again soon. No food allergies here, although 3B did sit bolt upright in bed one night and cry out, "Daddy stop feeding you!" I guess maybe I've been pushing the food a little hard.
