My Mood

The other side of the sign says "Welcome." I keep the "Stay Away" side facing outward.

I attempted another morning without diapers. Porgie peed on the floor 5 times in the course of 2 hours. I repeatedly asked her if she needed to use the potty, but she insisted that she didn't have to pee.

After the fourth accident I said, "Why won't you sit on the potty?"

Porgie shrugged her shoulders and said, "Because I am bad."

Then she walked into the living room and pissed on the floor again.

It is going to be a LOOOOOOONG summer.

That really made me giggle. I HATED those potty training days. Seriously it too a week of cleaning up pee everywhere and then she would finally start getting it. We luckily don't have carpet on our first floor so it was an easy clean up but it still sucked donkey balls. Good luck.

Ugh. I SO dread the potty training. I will probably avoid it as long as I can and hope daycare does most of it. lol. Bad, I know. They start it around 18 months, I think... and I don't think Bayley will be anywhere near ready. She's 15 months old tomorrow.

My old boss said poop was the worst. She finally got tired of cleaning it up and told her son that the next time he pooped in his big boy underwear, he would have to clean it. He cleaned it once then never pooped in it again. LOL.

As for the pee...we got Z cartoon underwear and would say, "Oh no! Spiderman doesn't want to be peed on!!" and so he was good about that. But ya know, every kid is different so who knows what will work with Porgie.

GOOD LUCK!! My prayers are with you. I may have to mail you some healthy chocolate to soothe your frazzled nerves. :)

pott training sucks! atleast its summer and you can have her walk around naked. I started training T before the twins came and it took some time but they catch on eventually. He just stopped wearing diapers to bed (i always put him in the twins diapers haha) She will get it sooner or later! and if you want a little laugh when T pooped in his pants i would get so fed up so i finally just started taking him outside and rinsing his butt off with the hose!

Yep... I feel for ya. I am going to continue to avoid potty training even though everyone keeps telling me to get Booga a potty. YEAH RIGHT. The first thing he does when I let him run around with no diaper is pee on the floor. FIRST THING!

I hate potty training with an unholy passion. They are young! Don't feel bad about going back to diapers. I had a week like that and put my son back in diapers until he was 3 1/2!!

I remember keeping little chocolates in the house when i was toilet training and when they used the potty they got a sweet. It was funny ~ they would sit on the potty and try to squeeze anything out just for a sweet. It worked a treat!
It won't be long till porgie is in big girl underwear.

haha. Kids always say no when you ask. I just tell E it is potty time and take her there. She pees on the floor a lot too and poops. Oh well...makes up for me not having a dog.

Oh... I haven't started the potty training yet, but I'm nervous about how it will go. Good luck! Keep at it. It will probably take several pee spots before she gets it or gives up being stubborn!

Too funny! She's a bad girl. You are so going to be in trouble when she hits the teenage years!

Oh my goodness ~ I remember those days well ~ I can remember a time when we went to Asda Walmart and Lauren peed down the bread aisle.....that was slightly embarassing......the joys of potty training eh?
I am sure that Porgie will get there eventually ~ keep at it.
Love and big hugs Tab XXXXX

btw with codi i say okay go potty or diaper and he will say uh uh and i say okay lets put your diaper on which he doesnt want to do so he rushes over to the potty.

now. with girls what i've heard works amazing is buying them undies, then if they pee in them they feel the wetness and dont like it, and inevitably realize if i pee on the potty my undies aren't wet. if she is just peeing naked it dries quickly where as undies stay wet forever. plus if you get cool princess ones or dora or whatever she will like them too much to pee on them

I recommend bribery and making her clean up the pee. Not that it will make much diff.
