Stream of Consciousness: Part 20

I have a confession to make. Lately, I haven't felt like writing on my blog. Wait, that is not entirely true. I actually DO want to write, but I have nothing interesting to say anymore. Hopefully this phase will pass quickly, and I'll be inspired to write something INTERESTING. Until then, please excuse my boring content.
__________

I bought a family membership to a children's museum last week. Porgie loves playing with all the displays, and Izzy likes watching all of the activity. We already went to the museum twice, and I plan on going a lot more. It is a great way to kill a few hours during the day.
__________

Target had Graco ComfortSport car seats on clearance last week, so we bought one for Izzy. Umm...that was a really boring tidbit. See? This is what I am talking about. I have nothing interesting to say. Ugh.
__________

John is convinced that he has lung cancer. He has been complaining that it hurts to breathe in. He went to the doctor Saturday, but they said he was healthy. Hmmm? Then why does it still hurt him to breathe.
__________

I have been having trouble falling to sleep at night. Sometimes I won't be able to able to get to sleep until 12 or 1 in the morning. Then I wake up EXHAUSTED in the morning. What is up with that?
__________

I think I am going to have a yard sale next weekend. I have so much junk to ge rid of - especially baby junk. Any money we make will be saved toward buying a new swing set for the backyard. I have already picked out the swing set I want...

__________

Izzy hates wearing bibs. He rips them off and tosses them on the floor. So, I had to purchase a whole new set of bibs that fit over his head, instead of velcroing around the neck. Like these...
__________

Had enough yet?

Ugh, I've been having trouble sleeping, too. Maybe it's just the pregnancy or associated back pain, but I'm not even getting to sleep until past midnight, and usually I'm out by 10! Also, Boopie (daughter) hasn't been sleeping well either the last two days. Perhaps there's something in the air? Cycles of the moon?

We all get blogblock...it'll pass.

That is a COOL swingset.

I hope John feels better. And I hope you get some sleep (I find taking Nyquil helps...just sayin...)

I love the bibs that go over their heads.....those are great!

That museum sounds like fun!!!

I hope your husband is well... one of my family members just found out that he has lung cancer - is kinda scary (to put it mildly)... I don't wish that on anyone. Hopefully its something a lot less severe, or better the dr's are right.

I like those bibs... they are cute and a good idea. Kalila is refusing to wear hers too. Where did you find them?

Have fun w/ the yard sale!

i've been there lately too. i just can't get anything together that is meaningful and/or interesting. is it a summer thing? does anyone else experience this??

hopefully it will pass...

I think that everyone starts a blog with a lot of ideas for what they want to write. But at some point those ideas have to be used up. So of course you end up with some periods of writers block.

But you obviously have a good following - and from the comments I see, people can relate to your daily "tidbits". It's all good.

As for John - maybe he should see someone about allergies. When your general practitioner can't find anything wrong, but breathing problems persist, then it often has something to do with an undiagnosed (or new) allergy. Just a thought. At any rate, don't discount it or let your doctor brush it off. If John feels like something is wrong - he should look into all possibilities. Most likely, it is in fact nothing. But "it's always better to be safe than sorry."
