Damn children

My glasses have finally met their demise. These damn children are ruthless!

Izzy decided to finish what Porgie started - he broke my glasses today. He snapped the arm off while they were still on my head! I am not sure if everyone's little boy is this rough, but Izzy kicks me, hits me, pulls my hair, and rips my glasses off of my face. Is this is a boy thing? All I know, is that Porgie was never so feisty. Izzy is one tough little cookie!

When you look at his sweet little face, it is hard to believe that he beats me up on a daily basis. But it is true internets. The kid is brutal.

You know, I have notice a difference between my daughter and son too. With my son lately he is such a mover. Changing a diaper or getting dressed has become impossible. My BG never did that to me...so I better prepare myself for the beat downs he gives me :-)

This is exactly why I got those titanium frames! Nora is always attacking me!

what cute insect jammies!

I do believe that boys are rougher than girls. Will's absolutely favorite game is to grab me around the knees so that I fall to the floor, he then climbs on my back & proceeds to BOUNCE as hard as he can on me. hysterical funny,I tell ya. If it weren't for the bruised ribs, I'd be laughing.

When Boopie was a little younger she was so rough on my glasses (even my titanium frames!) that I ended up getting contacts. It was a pain, because I have a pretty serious astigmatism, but I got them to work for a few months until she learned NOT to pull them off my head, twist them, shove them down on my nose, shove them into my nose, rip them off my face and try to put them back on while simultaneously poking me in the eye.

Yeah. Fun!

well, christy... he looks rather angelic in the picture, lol!!! but, i believe every word. i only have katherine, but i was 10 when my little brother was born, and he tore up everything i owned including ripping the necklace from my neck. boys are a different breed.
they are just so darn cute, though:D
love,

Gray loves to roughhouse, too. My glasses also have been bent out of shape and broken. I'm on my third pair since he was born.

I've taught him we have to carefully remove mama's glasses first before we can rough and tumble. He's getting good at it!

My daughter is more rough - she is the one who pulls our glasses and she has already broken one of my necklaces.

OMG...I'm so glad you said that! Not that I'm glad you get beat up, but glad that I'm not alone. I call my son 'Bam Bam' because he is so freakishly strong. And I've been hit, kicked, punched....sometimes I'm sore the next day like I've been in a small car accident. Half the time he does it he is either playing or sleeping....yes, he beats the crap out of me in his sleep!!! (sigh)
Might I suggest that laser surgery for your eyes. I had it done several years ago....LOVED IT!

I don't think it's just a boy thing... Kalila does that to me too.

He is adorable though

Cute, but destructive. What a nice combination!

Eliza beats me too! I am thinking of reporting her to DYFS!

Kids are ROUGH! This is the reason I rarely wear sunglass or earrings.

he is so cute. it can not be that he is brutal....

oh, i had a brutal one at that age -- he came out fighting and hasn't stopped, bless his heart.

Oh yes mam! There is a HUGE difference! My 2 oldest are boys and they were the same way...and then along comes my sweet docile little girl...

It's a testosterone thing...I'm sure of it...

Oh, he's so adorable, how could you possibly accuse him of such acts? But yeah, 3B does the same. My vision's not that bad, so I just stopped wearing glasses unless I'm at work. Mama's glasses, however, on on their way to looking like yours.

OH NO!!!!

MiniMe is unbelievably physical. Only once has it been directed toward me--usually my older boy gets the brunt of it. But I sympathize...I also have a little brute.

There is a reason they are born small; we couldn't defeat them if they were full sized.
