Getting ready

Thanks for all the lovely comments about how great I look. You guys are wonderful! Several of you commented on the fact that I am not "that big." I think it must be the camera or the lighting or the angle or something, because I feel HUGE. And every person I meet instantly asks about my due date.

Let us move on to more important topics - like my enormous child. Did you know that Porgie isn't a baby anymore? Did you know that she has been growing for the past 15 months? I know, I was shocked when I discovered this startling revelation too.

I have been looking at all of Porgie's old clothes and diapers and socks and shoes. I am absolutely amazed by how small she used to be. I can't even remember her being that little.

I guess this is my weird way of getting ready for Izzy.

Oh I love the little girl clothes. Seriously, you are not big and it was not the light. I know about the growing..Max is already wearing a #5 in the Pampers. Oh boy!! You look fabulous!!

I recently took pics of my baby's first shoes and her current shoes and you're right, what a difference! I'm constantly surprised. Sometimes when I'm feeding her her milk I notice that her legs are sprawled all around me--this big person is in my lap! She used to fit right on my middle and no more. I also saved the newborn diapers and her coming home outfit and I marvel. Well, anyway, have fun!

Ohh...I remember those tiny little swaddlers. It's funny how easy it is to forget how little they were.

And I was going to post about how much I liked the fact that the growing belly made my butt look smaller, but I couldn't make it come like I wasn't insulting your butt. Because, well, you do look good.

I always find it so amazing that your mind just kind of forgets just how small a newborn is and how small everything is then, it's hard for me to remember Taylor being so tiny but she was!

I was just going through Will's dresser & found a newborn onesie. I couldn't believe how tiny he used to be... tiny. Yeah, right. The kid was 8lbs 14 oz at birth. I don't think I EVER used newborn anything!

I'm sitting here at work right now, looking at a pic of Will when he was about 4 or 5 months old & the difference is amazing.

The size of the diapers always get me!
