Growing up is hard

Sometimes, I think Porgie has the easiest life. She plays all day, has mommy to cater to her every need, and someone is always available to wipe her ass. But really, her life can be very daunting. Take this obstacle for example... Poor little Porgie crawled under one of our kitchen chairs and was unable to escape this prison. I guess life can be pretty hard when you're one-year-old.

-- Please excuse my crappy, dirty kitchen. I am currently trying to persuade my husband to paint the horrible wood paneled walls. Also, we are trying to get a loan to remodel the entire kitchen. It is in desperate need of updating. When you walk into my kitchen, you are instantly taken back to the year 1976.

Too cute! Who needs a pack and play when you have kitchen stools.

Now that is cute! It is interesting to look at the world from a babies perspective!

Claire does the same thing with our bar stools-only she manages to hurt herself trying to escape. Wrought iron stools are the best place to play...

That sounds like K. At daycare they have this plastic kids chair that he can get into no problem, but getting out of it (which requires nothing more than putting feet down) seems to be impossible.

Your Time Machine kitchen looks clean enough to me! I'm surprised Porgie isn't obsessed with pulling the tablecloth down! And you said she's a couch potato...looks active to me!

It must be a 1 year-old-thing. Will does the same thing with our dining room chairs. He's just a bull-in-a-chinashop though... "too lazy to crawl AROUND the chair, I'll just go THROUGH it....Aw, Crap! MOM! I'm stuck again!"

You are so funny because I did not even see the dirt. Yeah, I am sure it is tough to be little. It takes a lot of work.
