For about a week, Porgie was being a pain in the ass at dinner time. She would put food in her mouth, chew it up, and then spit it out. In case you were wondering, this is very annoying. And to top it all off, she would whine and cry the entire time.
.
So, we broke out the booster seat and strapped it to one of our chairs. For some strange reason, this has cured all of Porgie's problems. Dinner time is now a pleasure. Porgie eats her food, and kicks her feet, and smiles.
My little girl is getting so damn big! LOOK AT HER!

We did the same re: getting the booster seat out. Being the niave "first timers" that we are, we took the tray off and put him up to the table...with his own plate...and fork...and sippy cup........my floor is on high alert. LOL.
Seems Porgie just needed a change of scenery. :-)
Aw, isn't it funny all their little opinions? She's looking quite the toddler these days...
Will loves his high chair.
As long as there is food on the tray, he's as happy as a clam.
As soon as the food supply runs low, he screams like a pterodactyl until more is added.
He is starting to love his sippy cup. It makes a lovely noise when you bang it REALLY REALLY HARD on the tray table and knocks the no-spill-thingy out of the cup so it leaks allllll over.... good times. good times.
She's a darling! Just wait until that second little darling is born! Porgie is going to seem so much bigger compared to the newborn! When my second came along my first was barely 2, and I remember thinking, "hey, kid! isn't it about time you went out and got a job?!" LOL
She is such a cutie but I am sure when she is spitting food out all over the floor..well maybe it is hard to see the cuteness but Porgie always seems to look adorabl
She IS getting so big!
In a booster seat and all!
:)
same thing with brandon..he got mad at the high chair and wanted to be part of the table
Babies are so funny that way...It's good to hear you've found a solution for Porgie's eating issue.
I'm glad she likes her booster! I don't have the room in my house for a high chair so my kids have always been in boosters and they love to sit in theirs!
That's funny that you mention this. Nate recently started to fuss in his highchair and would cry and scream and not eat a thing. So, I gave in and started to feed him on the floor in his vibrating chair, or his bumbo, and all was well.
I guess sometimes even babies need a change in scenery eh?
