I love love love New Jersey!! You will hear nary a bad word from me (Well,....deer flies, but that's it)about your Garden State. I KNOW!! The holiday traffic was horrendous! We drove down Friday night (7-ish, no traffic on the bridge)On Sat, we got up early, fed the kids, packed the lunch bag & hit Sea Isle City. The beach wasn't too crowded, but Sunday??! Sweet baby Jesus! Everyone & their mother was going to the beach. We turned around & went back to the campground & spent the day in the pool. :) What beach was that?? The dune is GORGEOUS!! Porgie had fun huh?? HaHa Izzy!! A day at the shore is one of the best sleep-aids I know.
We live a little over a hour away from the closest beach and don't go nearly enough as we should. Although, in less than 30 days we're taking a family trip to Edisto Island for some much needed sand in our toes!
Don't you LOVE how good the kids sleep after a day at the beach?
And a good time was had by all:)
