I always have a hard time titling my posts.

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning...

I decided that we had to go out and play. I searched high and low for Izzy's winter coat, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I decided to put him in Porgie's coat from last winter, so please excuse his girly appearance.

We walked outside, and Izzy refused to stand up. He kept plopping down and screaming...

Porgie, on the other hand, thought the snow was awesome...
I thought Izzy would calm down after a few minutes, but I was wrong...
Porgie was knee deep in snow, but she just kept on trucking...
Due to Izzy's tantrum, we couldn't stay outside long. We came back inside, and he continued to scream all morning. It was awful internet. AWFUL. I just put him down for his nap because I couldn't stand to hear him for another minute. It was one of those mornings where I was thisclose to slapping his little ass. And I don't even believe in spanking kids! Yikes!

So rough morning in Cakerwakerville. Thanks for all of the advice regarding the sunflower theme in the kitchen. Since we already have a painting of sunflowers in the livingroom, I think I am going to go with a fruit theme in the kitchen. Now, I need your opinion on which fruit art looks better...

Option A

Option B

poor izzy. guessing he was just upset about the girl coat :)

i love that set! gorgeous. would you stick with the golden yellow wall color you were talking about? that would be awesome.

and screaming babies. ugh. i totally understand. and sympathize. and think ... would the slap have made anything better? probably not. so be glad you held back. as hard as it is somedays.

Option B is my favorite! :) LOVE those prints! And love the snow pics! Sydney was the same way when she was little, she HATED the snow. She cried when I would have to walk in it carrying her! LOL! :)

christy, do you think izzy was having flashbacks to his last snow incident??? bless his heart (BLESS YOUR HEART!!!).
i like the fruit theme and like both options:) i think you will be happier with either longer than you would the flowers.

Been there. Ceaseless crying drives me insane. The only thing worse is all day whining. Sometimes, my kids spend a lot of time in their rooms. Looks cold, I'm thinking in terms of how long it took you to get them all ready, and then how short any outside play usually is in the snow!

I like option A, but both are nice.
Wow, all that snow looks like lots of fun! I'm sorry that Izzy was not in the mood to play in it though!

Those are awsome pics of the snow. We got snow a few days ago too....and today its almost 70 degrees....I like the snow for a day or 2..but I'm thinking I like the 70 degree weather a LOT more! ;)

I like option B but I've fallen behind in the comments so I'm sure this comment doesn't weign in anymore. ;)
