Books

I don't read much fiction. No, I love to read informational books and magazines. For the past few years, I have been baby obsessed and it is reflected in my collection of literature. First, I started reading pregnancy books...

After the pregnancy, came the nursing...

Then I realized that my children wouldn't sleep...

After I got the kids sleeping, I finally started fretting over their development...

I am starting to venture down this path, but we are just not ready yet...
And my current favorite read is this lovely book...

How about you? What do you read?

As little as possible. Why? College ruined me. lol.
I am trying to get through the Twilight series, though. I do like to read the news online and that's really about it.

I am a research asst for pediatric emergency medicine physicians so I do a lot of reading that way, too. I like medical stuff.

I had the what to expect book lol... It's good, but not what I was led to believe either. I also have the no cry sleep solution one.. I really want to get the hypnobirthing book before we start ttc... and TCOYF - Id really like that one, but it's a luxury since I already know how to chart.. can't justify that one lol.

I have a mix of books though. I love (seriously LOVE) reading. I have fiction (everything from romance to scifi to fantasy to historical fiction to religious fiction to classical literature, etc lol). Non Fic - I have books on religion, not just Catholicism either.. I enjoy reading about other religions. I have few parenting books because I do a lot of that online, but I have those two mentioned above plus one on adoption for future reference God willing. Books left over from college lol. Language books.. Etc. Not to mention childrens books... not just Kalila aged ones either... I enjoy the young adult and childrens books myself..

You made me laugh at myself. I read so many books about pregnancy and babies with my first two. This time, I'm already 20 weeks and I haven't even touched one!

Novels and magazines. All the time. Hours every day.

I got a pregnancy book from the library yesterday. Both boring and anxiety-inducing.

I read pretty much everything. I read books about whatever topic is my current interest-althugh I have tried to stop reading books about kids- make me nuts. I also usually have a novel on hand too.

I read a lot of those books when jack was first born too. I love informational books! I haven't read any for awhile, but I will be checking out the potty training section soon. :) I've been trying to do more "recreational" reading lately. I do okay, but it's easy to get side-lines by chores and such.

you have a great collection of mommy material, christy:) i hope that "getting your child to eat" book is helping!!!
i usually read a book of the bible each day, otherwise, i like books by several different authors... sparks, macomber, karon, etc...
