Stream of Consciousness: Part 12

My babies are sick. I am drowning in snot and vomit. HELP!!!
__________

I went to see the doctor about my gallstones last Friday. I will be having surgery on Monday. I am a little nervous about the anesthesia, but I am sure everything will so smoothly. They are using a laparoscopic procedure, so I should be back to normal in about 5 days. Sounds easy enough.
__________

To prepare for the surgery, I have been pumping like a mad woman. Despite all of my efforts, I have only managed to freeze about 12 ounces of milk. I am hoping to have at least 24 ounces for the day of the surgery, but I think I am going to buy a small can of formula just in case. I am really upset about this, and I am not sure way.
__________

I took Izzy to the GI doctor last Wednesday. His stools are still acidic, and he is still spilling sugars. Grrrrr. I am pretty frustrated, because I have been working really hard to eliminate soy, eggs, dairy, citrus, and peanuts from my diet.
__________

I have almost finished crocheting the gifts I promised to make for my blogger friends. I'll post pictures when I am finished.

I really enjoy crocheting, and I find it to be somewhat relaxing. I am thinking about offering to make baby blankets for a little extra cash flow. But that sounds like a lot of work, so I probably won't. Have I mentioned that I am LAZY?
__________

And here are some photos for little old you...

Real Baby Name Alert! REAL baby name alert!!!

Anyhoo, I'm sure IZZY & Porgie will be feeling better soon. Snot & Vomit are SO much fun, aren't they? Especially when they're NOT coming from YOU.

Gotta love kids.

Sucks about the gallstones. He'll survive on a day (bottle) of formula. So will you!

Oh no. We must have sent the puke and snot your way. I apologize! It has since left our house and I hope it stays away!!!

I hope your surgery goes well. I just found out that my sis is having hers after school ends for the year... apparently hers is a lazy gallbladder & not an emergency.

Good luck w/ the pumping. Have you tried doing it tandem w/ feeding? That's how I get more out when I need too.. She gets it flowing better lol even from the other side.

The pics are cute btw!

I had laparscopic surgery back in November. I was sore for a couple of days but back to my normal smart ass self the minute I came out. Don't be nervous, you will be great, and afterwards you will not have any more gallbladder pain!

I am thinking of you and hoping your little ones feel better soon. I am sorry to hear about your surgery. I tried to crechet once but I am too tense! You are not lazy- you sounds like super mom to me.

Do you have help coming?

While your in the hospital be sure to tell your nurse you are breastfeeding and they can bring you up a pump from OB.

Sending you surgery well wishes.
