Getting lazier by the minute

We have decided to waste more of our hard earned cash on something frivolous. We are paying a landscaping company to mow our lawn this summer. It is $25 per week, but I think it is worth it. John works ALL the time. When he is home on the weekends, he wants to relax and play with the kids. I don't blame him. Actually, I am the one who suggested paying someone to mow our lawn. Because why would anyone want to mow the lawn, when they could be watching this...

I have all of these wonderful plans for the outside of our house. I want new plantings in the front flowerbeds, a new privacy fence, a new storage shed, a new driveway, and new sidewalks. We can't afford any of these things, but at least we'll have the nicest damn lawn on the block!

If we could afford it, we'd do the very same thing...except it'd cost a lot more than $25.00 to pay someone to mow our lawn...unless they were crazy.

I'm with you all the way, why cut the grass when someone can do it for you!

Thats what weekends are for anyway, relaxing ,catching up, having fun and definitely not cutting the grass!

You will get all the nice things that you want for the outside of your home, and a nice tidy lawn is a good place to start.

Take Care x

oh we have the same high hopes for the yard this year...flowers, new driveway, maybe even a garden.

but let's be honest. those items aren't in the budget and i will be inside with the air begging mother nature to bring winter back :)

HA HA HA... we have a yard service too. Only we took the Summer off and are going to try to get my hubby to do it. We'll see... he couldn't even mow the quarter patch in our house. Oy.

Very reasonable, esp since he travels so much!

Good choice for the lawn service. That's what I'll be doing all summer when Justin's gone. When he's here he actually likes mowing the lawn. Weirdo.

I'd do it too if it were only that much (& if I had a yard lol).

What a cute picture!! We totally have to get Ellie one of those little things for her birthday.

I would really like to get someone to mow our lawn. I hate going out there every week:)

My hubby wouldn't give up mowing ever...He loves it...but he probably home more than your hubby. I wish we could do some landscaping but the dog would undo it faster than we could finish!

The $ is worth the time you will spend with your family! That is truly priceless.

I have thought about the same thing. But now I just do it, it is really sad, when I do the backyard Ella screams and cries and hides under the patio furniture in the front yard she hides in the bushes and screams. Everyone in our neighborhood has the nicest yards and felt like we were taking down the value of there houses with how over grown our yard was something had to be done. Ella is getting better with every week that passes. If I had 2 kids no questions asked yard service please!
