Stream of Consciousness

John and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary on Monday. And by celebrated, I mean we didn't speak to one another. My husband forgot our anniversary. How lame is that? I thought that was just a cliche portrayed on television shows. I guess I was WRONG.
__________

Oh my goodness, Porgie is asleep and Izzy just fell asleep in his swing! I am super excited. Maybe I can actually have 30 minutes of alone time. Probably not, but let's keep our fingers crossed.
__________

I no longer like my animals. Before Porgie was born, I loved all of my critters whole heartedly. I didn't anticipate that I would fall out of love with them so quickly. They just get on my nerves now. Anyone interested in 2 dogs and 4 cats? I am kidding, of course. Unless you really want 2 dogs and 4 cats...
__________

I complain a lot. Sometimes I feel like all is do is whine in my posts. I am obviously a very annoying person. Why are you still reading my blog? Bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch, bitch. That is all I do.
__________

I am a mean mommy. When Porgie wakes up from her naps, I never get her out of bed until she starts crying. I figure, if she is happy, why disturb her? On a good day, she'll play in her crib for 30 minutes. She is a good little girl.
___________

Izzy's two month appointment was Wednesday. Guess how much he weighed? 17 pounds! He is such a little fatty. Although it feels like I feed him constantly, I do love me a chubby baby. But seriously, 17 pounds is ENORMOUS for an exclusively breastfeed baby. Porgie only weighed 13 pounds at 2 months and she was getting a bottle.
__________

I just realized that the movie Girl Interrupted is on right now. I have to go watch it, because BOTH OF MY BABIES ARE ASLEEP!!!!

17 pounds....WOW! That's awesome though! It should totally put any worry about breastfeeding you may have had to rest. Great job!

Happy Anniversary. Sorry it was a bust this year. Next year will be so much better.

I also don't like my cats all that much now. I tolerate them. I usually keep them in the basement most days (they have food, water, places to sleep and all). They probably would never come out if it weren't for my husband.

Yay on both kids sleeping! Woo-hoo!

Yeah for both of them being down at the same time! Enjoy it!

Wow. Fatty McButter Pants is an excellent name for him. I agree, you can't beat a chubby baby. I just love squeezing Will's fat little thighs after he's had his bath.

Joe NEVER remembers our anniversary, or my birthday. He thinks my b-day is June 21st. It's written in his calendar. Every year, I have to go into the calendar & correct it to the 20th.

We got rid of our dog when Maggie was about 15 months old. Benny would constantly lick her face & I would catch him walking around with her stuufed toys in his mouth. He went to a very good friend of ours & he still comes over to "visit" every couple months. He's a good dog, and I ALWAYS had animals when I was growing up, but I just couldn't deal with him anymore.

The best time of evening for me is when everybody is asleep. Maggie goes to bed at 9, Will around the same time, Joe usually goes up around 9:30 - 10, then I immediately switch on On-Demand & watch either Paranormal State/Most Haunted/GhostHunters...all the "weird" shows that Joe doesn't like. Tonight, I will be drooling over Matt Damon & The Bourne Ultimatum!

Oh, and while I'm busy jamming up your blog with my novella of a comment, YOU DO NOT COMPLAIN TOO MUCH! You simply have strong opinions and don't mind sharing them with us.

Woo-hoo for both babies sleeping!!

I cannot believe John forgot your anniversary. Well, yes I can. But that is still lame. Hopefully he will do better for the fourth. :)

Oh and I totally leave Baby E in her crib until she starts crying. Self-entertaining is a beautiful, beautiful thing.

yeah I don't let K forget because I remind him the day before... This way he doesn't forget even if he wouldn't I make sure he won't

I also fell out of love with my animals.. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs... They get on my nerves too. They use to sleep in bed with me, but now they aren't even allowed upstairs.. my dogs SNORE LOUD!! Now that I sleep so lightly I can't let them.. It is just so much attention demanded from one person!

I have one dog and two cats, and they drive me batty. BATTY I say! I don't know how you handle 2 dogs, and four cats and two kidlets Chiquita!

And 17lbs? Go Go Gadget boobs! Nate weighed that at ONE year!

Hope you enjoyed your time while they slept! And 17 pounds is ginormous! That is about what Taylor weighs right now and she's almost 1!!

Wow, three years of marriage and two babies already...I just assumed you'd been married longer. Too bad about him forgetting...men are just like that.

I know what you mean about losing affection for your pet when a baby comes along. I totally lost it for my cat when Lila was born...and found the cat a new home promptly.

I love your new blog look! Super cute.

You just go ahead and bitch and complain all you want! That is what we are here for, to listen! I can't believe he missed your anniversary! WTF? I'm really sorry that totally bites. Hope you gave it to him after that.

17 lbs! Holy cow! Looks like you are doing a great job of feeding! Nothing wrong with a good healthy sized baby! E is so freakin petite. She is 20 months old and weighs just under 25 lbs. She's a peanut.

Isn't it nice when they are both sleeping at the same time. I just cherish the 2 hours I get when E is napping... like right now! Me time is so precious and rare!

Woah there, give yourself a break. And punnish your husband, just kidding... kind-of. I'd be upset too but I am in no way subtle when it comes to stuff like that and make sure to insert reminders weeks before hand. :)

And no wonder you're sick of your animals, you have A LOT of them! ;)

Love the new banner.

So, mine were preemies, so not a great comparison, but at 2 months they were 9 1/2, and less than 7 pounds! S was 17 pounds, 6 ounces at her one year check up! Funny how different the range of normal is.

Sorry about the anniversary. Hope there's something killer to make up for it.

Wow he's bigger than Kalila & she's 4 months lol. She's somewhere about 15 lbs, we'll find out for sure on Friday...

I'm a bit annoyed w/ my cat at times lately too... but I love her so I'm trying to work it out.

Did he make it up to you yet? I told G about it and I have just been thinking about you the last few days and feeling really sad for you!

I would have kicked his butt had he done the same... but then I am not to subtle when it comes to my feelings about things... I am a loud mouth at times.

Happy Anniversary!

I know how you feel about the animals. Ours have definitely taken a backseat to the kiddos, but we're keeping them around. Dylan loves his animals.

17 lbs at 2 months? Holy...that's one big baby. Zach's 17 lbs at 5 months and he's a chubby beast! Wow. How long is he?
