The way to my heart

My fourth wedding anniversary is fast approaching. If you were reading my blog last year, you probably remember that my husband FORGOT our anniversary. I would like to say that I didn't really care, but that would be a lie. I was angry with him for weeks.

I learned my lesson last year, so I have been talking about our anniversary constantly. If he forgets this year, I might have to kill him. Anyways, I have told him in no uncertain terms that I want a dishwasher as a gift. He keeps telling me that we don't have enough space for a dishwasher. So last night, I may have implied that we should buy a new house to remedy the problem.

I want a damn dishwasher! I feel like I am the only person on the face of the planet who washes everything by hand. It is time consuming and boring. And well, I just want a dishwasher! If I cannot have my beloved dishwasher, I don't want anything else. Yes, I am a whiny 4 year old.

Love is a shiny new dishwasher...

...and I want you to HAVE a dishwasher. Yes, you may be the last person washing dishes by hand.
{okay, that may not be true, but I'm totally validating your request.}

I use my dishwasher atleast once or twice a day!

Ok, now my sister is officially not the only person I know without a dishwasher :-)

I hope you get your dishwasher...although to me unloading and loading a dishwasher is even worse than handwashing. My husband takes care of it most of the time because I HATE it!

I agree. In modern civilization, a dishwasher is a necessity in a house with children. We made due without in our newlywed days - but even then - it was a huge inconvenience.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I wanted a sink and faucet for Christmas but no such luck. haha ;) Isn't it funny how we go from wanting all this fancy, unneeded crap to getting excited about household appliances? :) Have a good week! When is the anniversary?

oh wow. I have a dishwasher but it's really old (it came with the house) and it doesn't wash very well. So I wash most of my stuff by hand too. If I bug your hubby to get you one, will you bug mine? :)

You definitely NEED and DESERVE a dishwasher!!! My boss is in a house that doesn't have one and she hates it. I would cry if I didn't have one. Here is hoping your hubby does good this year and gets it for you!
