Mmmm...washcloth

Since writing this post, we have dabbled with solids a few times. Izzy has eaten some banana from a mesh feeder and has had a few spoonfuls of applesauce. Although he enjoyed the banana, he could have lived without the applesauce.

Tonight we tried a teething biscuit. Izzy was in heaven. He excitedly crammed the biscuit into his mouth and smiled. Here is some photographic evidence...
When he finished the biscuit, I attempted to clean him up. Turns out that washcloths are just as scrumptious as teething biscuits...
Contrary to what you might be thinking, the washcloth was soaked in water - not whiskey...

He is so chunk-a-licious! Oh, my girl doesn't care for applesauce either....except when I add a little cinnamon. Then she starts going "mmmm....hmmmmm" when she eats it. Maybe give that a try? I guess my girl has a sophisticated pallet and requires seasoning to her food, maybe Izzy does too?

That Izzy is so dang cute!!

For Ellie's first christmas we got a picture of her that made her look drunk. We then proceeded to make a christmas card out of it. It had the caption "please drink responsibly this holiday season" and sent it out as a joke to a few select people.

LOL!! Oh he is soo sweet. I just want to much on those cheeks!! NOM NOM NOM!!

Cole loves those teething biscuits too... I have yet to try one myself.. but I will take their facial expressions for proof of their scrumptiousness- as with the washcloth tastiness.

Oh yummy....

When Ella was teething I would take wash clothes get them slightly wet and then put them in the freezer. She loved chewing on them the roughness of the terrycloth and the coolness from putting them in the freezer were perfect for her sore gums.

He is growing so fast. I love that last picture too!
