Don't get me wrong, Kentucky and New Jersey are both great places to live. But I have it stuck in my head that I belong in Vermont. Why? Well remember that show Newhart from the 80's? I took a liking to the characters and setting, and decided that I would move to Vermont one day. And now that I am an adult, I can't shake the impulse to daydream about Vermont. Did you know that Vermont is one of the least populated states? AWESOME. I need a little more peace and quiet in my life. Did you know that Ben & Jerry's is headquartered in Vermont? DOUBLE AWESOME. I need a little more ice cream in my life.
Of course to make me miserable, my husband has decided that he does not want to move to Vermont. He claims that it will be too cold. He is such a pussy. Instead, John talks about moving to California (SNORE). I have absolutely no desire to move out west. Oregon sounds kind of nice, but not nice enough to move across the country for.
To prove that I am right and John is stupid, I did an image search of the word Vermont. This was the first image on the page...
Then I did an image search on the word California. Look what I found...
I win. Vermont is a better place to live. What? You don't base important life decisions on Google image searches?

I don't think VT could be that much colder than NJ, and it's really pretty. I went there for a vacation once. Mostly white people, though, and if you want a comprehensive medical community you need to be in the city. I think I read they don't have quite enough doctors there.

LOL - I'm with your husband on the too cold thing... but NJ and Kentucky seem too cold for me too. Oddly enough the state I dream about (despite my hatred for cold) is Connecticut. Hearing some of the birth information (or situations) there is deterring that a little bit lol... but its still there in my head. I'm not sure why except maybe influence from when I was a little kid & reading books & stuff.
As someone who lives in Cali, I would much rather live in Vermont.

i think that is the best way of determining the solution to a huge life change. google searches. i'm gonna use it for everything from now on.
LOL! My husband's main snowboarding company is based in Burlington, Vermont. His main skate company is based in L.A.
I don't want to move to EITHER place. I want to move to Costa Rica! Unless it suddenly starts snowing in Costa Rica I don't think that's going to happen.....
