Just a quick note...

Are your weekends exciting? Because mine are NOT. I always eagerly look forward to the weekend, and then I am always disappointed with how mundane and boring the weekend is. Obviously I have unrealistic expectations about the fun and excitement that my husband will bring to the household.

This weekend we went to my beloved Target, Lowe's, and Whole Foods. Blah. The kids seemed pleased though. I have been trying to be more fiscally responsible, so we have been sticking close to home the last few weeks. Often times, we play out in the yard or at the park. Occasionally we will go to Target, but that is always a budget buster. So the kids really enjoyed our humdrum adventures this particular weekend. But me? Blah.

Where am I going with this line of thought? I have no idea. I just wanted you to know that my weekends are boring.

The end.

I could leave a false cheery comment, but I'm feeling pretty blah right now too, and really tired, so I'll just say - ugh - sorry! When I'm feeling more motivated I might email you with cheap fun suggestions. Or I could just say: sex. You know it makes it sleep, at least! ha!

we have weekends like that too-I swear during the week we have a more exciting time. strange huh?

No same here... We can't do much. Sundays are both a highlight and low point of my week lol. I dread what may happen at Church (is horrible, but toddler... I'm about ready to pull my hair out) but we get out...and have a family lunch w/ my FIL and BIL afterwards.

Comp off topic... but do you have any easy (stress easy... heavily stress easy lol) vegetarian recipes that don't have a ton of ingredients (spices are ok because we are well stocked there)? We don't do much veg... but I'm drawing a blank on my menu for this Friday :-( I'd really appreciate it... I'm looking everywhere and most of the stuff I'm finding is just not doable.

Our weekends are the same. Hubs blames where we live. He says the only thing to do around here is shop. He hates it.

mine was totally lame too.

Our weekends seem pretty boring most of the time too. Catch up on cleaning, school work, etc. Spending time with Jack that we don't get during the week is nice, but it's not always exciting!

Well...sometimes my husband and I fight about who needs to spend some time with the kids and who gets a break to run errands alone. That's exciting!

yeah, mine too.

Don't knock boring. Whenever I start to feel that way - I think "it's better than a trip to the ER..."

I'm stuck going to baseball games with a fidgety 1 year old, surrounded by the bitchy family of my stepson's mother who want to hold and touch MY daughter. I just want to kick them all in the face.

Woah. Think I need some sleep. I'm grouchy.

Yep. Same here. Saturday is grocery shopping, Sunday is spent mostly in the laundry room.

Now that the campground is officially open for the season, I'll be able to at least go to the shore.

We used to do fun stuff or hang around and now it's all a frenzy. Oh well.

Mine usually are, with Will working all weekends, but yeah, I have no big suggestions, we just have lots of birthday parties and stuff filling ours now, don't recommend those on a diet or budget either.

I always have so much crap to do on the weekends that I end up just laying on the couch half the time WISHING that I had the energy to do some laundry. So, obviously not that exciting.

I didn't leave the house all weekend. The only reason I got dressed on Saturday was because friends were coming for dinner....it was a hold the baby and get the milk up weekend. I loved every minute of it. Work sucks.

sounds pretty much like my weekends.

My weekends are just as boring..you totally captured what I feel every weekend. I always think my husband is going to be super fun and we are going to have glorious family excitement and then...nothing....boring...husband is too tired to do anything...blah. At least you get to go more places than the grocery store. That is our big outing..so sad.
