Even more progress!

Since having our shrubbery removed, our foundation has been an eyesore. It is hard to believe, but I honestly did not realize how awful the paint on our foundation looked...

To remedy the problem, we hired a nice man to paint our foundation this morning. He did a fabulous job...

I realize that these are not the most exciting home improvement photos, but repainting the foundation has really spruced up the outside of our house. And it is going to add even more curb appeal when we finish replanting the flowerbeds.

Although I am excited that we are getting so many home improvement projects completed, I am overwhelmed by the fact that we still have a lot of projects left to complete. Next year we are hoping to have our windows replaced and get a privacy fence in the backyard. The year after that, maybe a new kitchen???

So what about you? Any home improvement projects in the future?

WE just decided to move put a whole bunch of tress in the back. They are so damn expensive and so I may just move around some existing stuff etc. Also we have to do a baby's room by december so I guess that is pretty big and pretty damn fun.

Always! The projects never end. The foundation looks great - it's amazing what a few little things will do for the overall feel of the house.

Looks good! No improvements here so to speak (apartment lol) but... I'm getting things organized inside & working on our budgeting stuff. Already I'm noticing a huge improvement (husbands new job helps lol). I'm actually enjoying it too lol... didn't expect to but I do.

I've noticed that it's always the little things that make the biggest difference. Looks great!

Oh, to have the strife of home improvement projects. Instead, I just have monthly rent checks to write.

My mother, however, has many projects that we have gotten sucked into :-) Like re-roofing her house. Or taking down her above-ground pool. Or adding on to her deck. Or creating a patio area. Or replanting her flower beds. LOL. She keeps us busy :-)

Oh yes! I have a post coming soon on my own home improvement project. I'm almost done. I'm on a mission now that all my kids are gone during the day. I have a whole line up of home improvement projects on my to-do list.

What a difference a little paint makes! Looks great!

We're still working on trying to vacuum regularly. The list of improvements our home needs is overwhelming. Sometimes I think we should just MOVE.

That does look great! I need to do that too.

I need to finish the basement before Zander's birthday, because I plan on having the party down there. Not much left to do...but enough that I'm worried I won't get it done....

love the paint job friend :)

our list is long...but right now we are focused on the basement. last year we paid way too much money to have the foundation secured and the walls waterproofed. this summer we are framing in walls and sheet rocking and building shelves!!

oh the pure fun :(

I feel like we are always working on a home improvement project - deck, fence, lighting, painting... We have a HUGE list.

I would love to paint the whole inside again. Two years ago we hired painters to paint every room and it looked great. BG was a baby...since she started crawling/walking it looks like the last time our walls were painted was in the 90's.

It's amazing how a lick of paint makes things look so much better. Your improvements are going really well.
I would really, really, really like a new kitchen!

That looks great!!! The man that painted it did a fantastic job!

We recently built a home, so our home improvement projects have been landscaping and furnishing it. It's been fun! It gets expensive though - so we've been a little creative. I recently painted a picture for our kitchen because it was lot cheaper than buying one!!

Nice...that's a big improvement. We've planned our entire bathroom remodel, but since we have only the one bathroom, now we're stuck trying to figure out how we can move out of our house for two weeks while they demo the old and bring in the new.

It looks so much better. It is amazing that something like paint can make such a difference. The only thing that I really want to do is get some pictures hung in our house and get started on doing the back yard.
