Stream of Consciousness: Part 6

Daylight savings time threw me for a loop. I completely forgot to set my clocks back on Saturday night, and therefore was an hour behind everyone else on Sunday. Daylight savings started on Monday in my household. Izzy didn't like the whole "springing forward" idea and decided to sleep until 9:30 this morning. Porgie didn't really like the idea either, but I woke her little butt up to maintain our normal schedule.
__________

Remember the swing that I bought from Target? Well, I should have taken it back and saved my $100. But, I am a sucker and ended up buying Izzy this...He likes it...ummm....I think. Well he sits in it and he doesn't cry, so I guess he likes it.
__________

I am really bad about not responding to comments. But I LOVE getting comments and I LOVE you, dear internet friends. So, I am going to make an effort to respond to your comments - not every single comment, but I will definitely respond if you asked a question or if I feel the need to elaborate on the subject being discussed. If I have your email address, I'll probably respond that way. If not, I will post my response in the comments section.
__________

For about a week now, Izzy has been having brownish orange poop. Isn't that exciting! It is still very, very runny, but it is not bright green!! I never thought poop could be this exciting, but it is!!! Notice all the exclamation points!!!! So exciting!!!!!
__________

I have been having some intense pain under my ribs lately. Sometimes the pain will last for 4 or 5 hours, and I usually end up vomiting before it is over. I have been having these little "attacks" for about 2 months. I am going to the doctor this afternoon, so hopefully they'll find the problem.

Is that a jumperoo? If so, Lila loved hers as well. She was never really into her swing, but the jumperoo she spent loads of time in.

Thanks to you & Izzy, I have been checking out Will's poo. He's always been a big pooper. That kid goes 3-4 times a day! I'm a once-a-day girl, so is Mag.

Not to be gross, but this morning his poo was a little bit....slimy.
I just threw up a little typing that.
When he was an infant, Dr. though he might be lactose-intolerant & I put him on soy formula. He didn't poo any less (or firmer) but he *did* stop spitting up so much. At his 1 yr checkup Dr. told me to put him on 2%. Maybe he needs to go back on the soy.

It *does* sound like gallbladder to me too. I'm not a Doctor, but I used to watch General Hospital.

Ok I totally want to know what is wrong with you because I SO HAD THAT PAIN IN THE RIBCAGE. They gave me some pain killers/anti inflammatory medication for it and I'm like totally CURED now. (So far, anyway).

Yessss! orangie poop!!!!! awesome anything is better then green duck poop!!!!!!!! Codis poop is super watery I think because he is taking every single nutrient from it, anyway that means when he poops and I open his diaper a crack to see if its poop, then poop just flows out all over me like water! you would think i would get smarter and stop opening the damn diaper wouldn't you?

I hope the doc figures out what is happening with your pain, I had something like that last summer but it only lasted for like a week so it wasn't too terrible!

That's the exact jumperoo that we're about to get Kalila! I can't wait!

Glad to hear about the poo (lol what an odd sounding statement). We're having green here... but I know it's food related. The joy of starting solids lol.

Yay for orange poop! Did you change anything to get orange poop?

Oh and it totally sounds like your gallbladder. I would say get it checked out especially if it is accompanied with nausea vomiting or a fever. Hope you feel better soon.

Not So Perfect,
I have been off dairy and soy for about a week. I may have gotten a little to excited, because he had a green diaper this morning.

Gosh, I hope you figure out where the pain is coming from, mine was my gallbladder! I had it removed when Sara was 10 months old.
