We ultimately decided to put the smaller table in the dining room because of the carpeting. But I think it looks great! The blue and the oak really go well together (according to me). The table is a little small for the room, but I think it gives the illusion of spaciousness.
Since we might be selling our house sometime in the next year or so, I am interested in hearing your opinion. Be honest, what do you think of the dining room?

Love the colour!
I LOVE the blue! I have a blue living room. Here are my two cents worth - I would put the bigger table in the room and if you are selling, realtors usually say to paint a neutral color. I want to sell in the next year or two and am thinking about that neutral color even though I adore blue. In fact I like your blue better than my blue!
Wow, I love the color! I am sure buyers will be impressed with all the new paint. Looks so fresh and stylish!
When we moved, we had to repaint a bunch to make it look nicer, and they told us to do it all neutral. But we left rooms painted some colors (one was a lot like that blue) and it went fine.
love love love the blue!! and my two cents? leave the blue - if the new people hate it, they can repaint. but i am guessing they will love it! however, when you do start showing it i'd prob swap the tables...it shows that you can have a big table in the dinning room for family stuff and a little table in the kitchen which makes it an eat-in-kitchen which everybody always wants!
I also love the blue! And I think it is so funny when people judge a house by the colors on the walls. Like painting is that hard or expensive! So if it were me, leave it and they can always repaint.
