After playing outside all morning, my son came home with a nasty heat rash all over this chest and back. I have been encouraging him to run around naked. I think we might stay home today to give his skin a chance to cool off. It has been unbearably hot this week. I am soooo over summer. Fall sounds like a little piece of heaven, right here on Earth.
Because I am longing for colder weather, I have been busy crocheting again. My new specialty is winter hats. This is my latest creation...
So cute and so easy to make! I am thinking about doing a craft show again. I talk about this every. single. year. Despite all of my talk, I have never actually set-up a booth at a craft fair. Apparently, I just like talking about it.

It is so weird to me to hear people talk now about how hot they are. It is NOT HOT here in Sweden.

Will's YMCA class just went to Smith a few weeks ago. He had a blast.
Not me, nope, never never never am I ready for Summer (the BESTEST season evah) to come to an end. I hate sweaters & cordouroys & mittens & coats & scarves (except for the one you made me!)& boots & cold wet children & high home heating oil bills & dark at 4pm....
I'll take nekkid babies, the pool, salad for dinner, paper plates, fresh fruits & veggies, shade trees anyday.
