More proof that I suck at this housewife thing

Remember the post where I confessed to letting water boil until it all evaporated and the pan was scorched black? Well, I decided to take it a step further this time...
The poor, helpless peas. They didn't stand a chance in my kitchen.

  2. ewww. was it stinky?
I almost posted, "what the hell is that????", but you answered that already.

might I suggest the Ziploc zip-n-steam bags? they're soooooooo easy. And the microwave has a timer, so it will turn itself off when it's done!

  8. hey! how'd you get my pot?

i have this horrible gift for letting things burn. i find it comforting to know i'm not alone, sister.

and the peas...? they just, erm, wanted to be black-eyed? :)

  9. too funny! I second Lainey-Paney. but you don't even need the steam bags, just put a little bit of water in a bowl with peas and cover. 4 to 6 min on high and you are done. Easy peasy.....

  11. I am glad I am not the only one, I once put some eggs on to boil and forgot about them and actually went out!! When I came back they had exploded and the kitchen was a real mess ~ I was lucky the whole place didn't go on fire !!!
Never mind, my motto is 'you can't be good at everything!!' (I just wish I was good at something ~ ha ha!!)
    love and hugs,
