So...

My doctor called this afternoon. I have gallstones - many, many gallstones. I have to schedule an appointment with a Colon and Rectal Surgeon. Ugh.

It is times like these, when I wish that I still lived in Kentucky. I really need my family for help and support right now.

  4. I don't know what I can say to make it better. But I do know that pain and I remember I was suicidal thinking if I had to deal with that forever I'd rather not live.

You get through it... what doesn't kill us makes us stronger... right?

  16. That sucks, but at least you know what it is and it sounds like--if the innernets don't lie, and how could they?--that treatment is effective and as safe as one could hope for. Not fun, to be sure, but at least a solution is available.

  17. I am so sorry! My baby sister has those too right now (poor thing accidently got sent to an OBGYN instead of the GI & was traumatized by it lol) I hope you get to feeling better!

  19. Oh, Christy, This is easy for me to say, but I know harder for you to do, but try not to stress too much about it. A woman I work with had her gall bladder removed while she was pregnant! with her 1st baby. She's fine now, expecting her 2nd in July.

She tells me that the pain of the gallstones was worse than the surgery since it was done laproscopically.

Your internet family is here for you to listen, and lend support. We're here with big, sqooshy internet hugs when you're feeling scared or sad. We're here with hugs and joy when things go well for you & your kids. You are not alone. We love you & wish the best.
