Better Know a Cupcake 5

This is the 5th installment of my 75 part series, Better Know a Cupcake. Today I am featuring chocolate cupcakes with butter cream frosting (and marzipan decorations!).
I made these little beauties for my beloved husband, on his 35th birthday. How better to celebrate turning 35 than with a Super Mario Brothers themed party. Everybody knows that 35 is the new 13. In case you are video game challenged, was attempting to replicate 1up mushrooms and super mushrooms...
